Willow & Ash

We photograph the day you actually have, not the one on a shot list.

Two photographers, one quiet approach, and a gallery that reads like the day did. Based in Fox Run, NC, traveling statewide.

Whole weddings rather than a reel of highlights, because that is what you get from us.

The day

What a wedding day looks like with us.

No shot list to march through, no two hour portrait block, no one clapping to get your attention. Here is the shape of it.

How we work
  1. Two hours before the ceremony

    Getting ready

We arrive quietly, split up, and photograph both rooms: the dress on the door, the letter being read twice, your grandmother fixing a cuff. Nothing is staged except the rings.

  2. However long it takes

    The ceremony

One of us shoots from the aisle, the other from the side or the back. No flash, no stepping in front of your officiant, no asking anyone to do it again.

  3. Thirty five minutes, that is all

    Portraits

Family groups first so they can get to the bar, then the two of you alone. We walk, you talk, and we stay far enough away that you forget we are there.

  4. Through the last song, if you want

    The reception

Room details before the doors open, toasts from two angles, and the dance floor lit the way it actually looked. We stay until the music stops or the coverage ends.

Couples

In their words.

These are placeholders. Replace them with your own Google reviews once they start arriving.

We asked for photographs that felt like the day and got exactly that. Half of our favorites are moments we did not see happen.
Elena R. · Fox Run
They were somehow everywhere and nowhere. Our officiant did not notice them once, and we still have the ceremony from three angles.
Wes T. · Cedar Hollow
The gallery landed three weeks early, and my mother has already ordered prints for every wall she owns.
Harper M. · Larkspur

We take a limited number of weddings a year so that both of us can be at every one of them.
